Today, March 7th, we celebrated World Book Day by calling to St. Mary’s Junior boys school for some Buddy Reading. Our 5th and 6th classes paired up with Junior and Senior Infants. Brothers and cousins were also paired together for what was a terrific occasion.

Junior and Senior infants brought in their favourite book and the the older boys read them the story and asked questions. Some of the older boys also brought in their favourite book from when they were younger and read this to the infant classes.

At the end of the session all of the boys were presented with tokens to mark World Book Day. Many thanks to all in St. Mary’s junior boys for having us down.
