ICT Facilities

Our school has 30 Chromebooks for use in all classes.

We are also lucky enough to have 18 Ipads and all of our classrooms also have 75″ flat panel Interactive Whiteboards.

Vex Robotics

Our school is proud to be a Vex Robotics school in association with Dell. Vex Robotics is a robot competition where pupils design and build their own robot and programme the robot to complete various tasks. Each year our pupils get to go to Dell in Limerick to take part in the Robotics competition. The Vex Robotics programme helps pupils build Maths and Science skills as part of our STEM programme in the school.

This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to purchase mobile devices for use in our classrooms i.e Ipads. An IWB was also purchased for use in our classrooms as well as visualisers, pupils laptops and headphones.
