On Tuesday 05/11 we had a terrific occasion in the school when we had a visit from Tipperary senior and u20 players Barry Heffernan, Jake Morris and Conor McCarthy. Cian, Daniel and James recalled their memories of the All Ireland senior final and the players were then treated to a whole school rendition of Slievenamon. The players were then interviewed by Emmet, Valters and Dylan with some very tricly questions posed to the players! Barry Heffernan recalled some of his memories hurling in the school and his former teachers Ms. Brophy and Ms. Glennon also had questions for Barry.

To conclude the celebration the boys sang the song ‘Tipp Supporters’ which was written especially for the day. All classes then had the opportunity to get a photo taken with the players and each boy received a Tipperary poster. Jake Morris then delivered the best news of all, there was no homework for the night! Videos of the day can be viewed below.
