Wellbeing Week 2020
This year in Nenagh CBS Primary, we ran a whole well being week in the school for all the boys to participate in.
There were several activities for the boys to promote well being and a healthy lifestyle.
We also had our Grandparents mass at St. Mary’s of the Rosary church on the 29th of January. It was a wonderful celebration. Thanks to Ms Glennon who organised the event and Ms Boland and Ms Kelly who choreographed the songs and music.
The final of the 2nd and 3rd class yard hurling league also culminated this week. Ms Buckley did a sterling job in organising the tournament and it gave the boys in the junior classes a chance to showcase their hurling skills. The tournament saw the Cork team emerge victorious, where they defeated a spirited Kerry side in the final. Weill done lads.
Tara Power came to speak to the boys about food nutrition. Tara was speaking on behalf of Food Dudes and the boys were facilitated with free fruit as part of their Friday small break.
On Friday, Ms Sheary and Ms Dorothy organised and ran a Station Exercise course. The boys were really put through their paces. It was great fun and showed us that they boys like their exercise and have great stamina.
