Ms Twomey’s Junior Infant class

Junior Infants had a very busy and exciting month of April, making the most of the beautiful sunny weather while learning all about our local community. The children enjoyed a variety of engaging outings, including a fascinating visit to Nenagh Castle, where they explored history in a fun and interactive way.

We also visited the fire station, the library, and the vets, giving the children a great opportunity to learn about the important roles people play in helping our community every day. These trips sparked lots of curiosity, questions, and meaningful conversations back in the classroom.

Of course, we didn’t forget to enjoy the sunshine too! The children loved spending time outdoors and even treated themselves to some delicious ice cream along the way.

Overall, it has been a fantastic month full of learning, exploring, and fun as we continue to discover more about the world around us.
